The Paycheck Protection Program and loan forgiveness are intended to provide economic relief to small businesses nationwide adversely impacted under the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Emergency Declaration (COVID-19 Emergency Declaration) issued by President Trump on March 13, 2020. H. R. 748, SEC. 1102 of Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The SBA issued an interim final rule April 2, 2020 [Docket No. SBA-2020-0015]RIN 3245-AH34. FAQs were issued April 6, 2020 clarifying important details on the $100,000 salary cap and more. This webinar will explore the rules, as updated now several times, and make practical suggestions on how to calculate your loan amount, how to disburse and administer the loan once you receive it, and how much of your loan can be forgiven. For practitioners applying for their practices (many should) or guiding clients, this will be a useful and practical “how to” webinar.
